Leofoto tripods feature light weight carbon fiber tubes to reduce weight while maintaining a high load capacity. The T6-6061 grade aluminum hardware is CNC machined and hard anodized, creating a durable and scratch resistant setup. The standard twist leg lock system can be quickly deployed with a quarter turn. With the tripod's variable leg angle positions, the tripod can be completely spread out, so the support can drop to a very low minimum height.

Spotting Tripod
I have 1 of these and really love it. For spotting it is excellent. It has an excellent inner tension nut on the handle and a separate tension nut on swivel feature. Between the 2 adjustments you can set it up to move exactly, matching the weight of the scope so it doesn't bobble even if you loosen the handle too much. I'm not sure you would want to attach a 15 to 25 pound rifle to it (depending on the balancing point) , but I have a platform for the top and if you had it all tight, and put a shooting bag on it it would work just fine. My lighter hunting rifles all work well in a rifle clamp on this rig. The leg knobs work with little effort and lock very positive, and are quiet. Only con I have is that the legs do not lock (at the top) in both directions, so if moving the unit all assembled, the legs can fold up and you may have to re-lock them at the angles you need again. This is an excellent unit especially at the price point it is sold at.

Can only attest to my initial thoughts as i havent been able to use it for target shooting yet
It was well packaged and easy to assemble. Fit solidly with my Ruger Precision Rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor did not seem unbalanced nor ready to tip and as of right now i am very happy with my purchase and i will update whenever i am able to go shooting
