Description
Apex Bag Rider - Ruger Precision Rimfire
With the Apex Bag Rider for the Ruger Precision Rimfire RPR shooters can improve their shooting positions and stability and make rapid elevation aiming adjustments. The Apex is wider and longer than the factory picatinny rail. This provides a much more stable rest on shooting tables, packs and bags while taking a shot.
The bag rider's angled shape allows for a generous amount of rapid elevation adjustment by simply sliding your rear support bag back and forth to raise or lower the butt stock. This lets the stock rest on the support bag rather than replying on uneven applied grip pressure to maintain a shooting position.
This bag rider is designed specifically for the Ruger Precision Rimfire that perfectly matches the lines from the factory butt stock. Easy install by sliding over the factory bottom picattiny rail and is locked down with a single screw without any modifications or disassembly to the rifle.

Installs Quickly and Looks Great
Got this for a brand new Ruger Precision Rimfire. Only 1 screw to install so it took all of about 30 seconds. Looks like an original part of the stock.

Apex Bag Rider- Ruger Precision Rimfire
Great product in design for the intended use it also looks great on the rifle and I give it 4 stars in this category. The down side is as in other reviews out there this product has one small flaw. The nut that rest in the plastic to tighten it to the pic rail is undersized. You have to tighten carefully and in small increments slowly or the nut will spin in the plastic. If this happens it will round out the slot that holds the nut in place from spinning. I give this little part of the design 2 stars. This item would be a 5 star product if this issue was redesigned and the redesign or fix would not be hard to do.
