The Adjustable Bag Rider by Long Shot Precision—

    My Take

After finally getting my hands on the Long Shot Precision Adjustable Bag Rider, I can honestly say this thing is slick. The machining and finish are top-notch — it feels like it belongs on a high-end rifle, not a cheap add-on. Mounting it was quick and painless, and once it’s on, it’s rock solid.

The magic happens with that thumb wheel. Instead of doing the old “squeeze the bag, overshoot, squeeze again” routine, you just dial your elevation right where you want it. It’s buttery smooth and makes getting on target so much easier. The wide contact surface also helps the rifle track straight — no more wobbly monopod antics.

    What I love:

Smooth, precise adjustments (and super satisfying to use).

Seriously sturdy — it feels like it could survive a drop off the bench.

Makes fine-tuning elevation way less frustrating.

Works great with standard bunny-ear bags.

    What’s not perfect:

    Adds a little weight.

It’s not cheap — but quality rarely is.
