The bolt handle was easy to install, make sure you buy the firing pin tool it's well worth it and makes the job simple. Also the bolt handle went on easily and is easy to find and makes it easier to cycle the action. These two things are a must upgrade and they're top. Notch after market things that make your rifle look much better and function alot better.

Was new the Ruger American platform before purchasing this Ranch version in the Gen II. The bolt handle left much to be desired. I am super happy with the purchase of not only this bolt handle but the length of bolt it self they sell to go with it. Trust me you want the take down tool. Makes it super easy. I used a dab or two of rocksett to make sure my handle would essentially never come off. It’s a must have for this rifle in my opinion.

Fantastic upgrade over the gen 2 bolt handle. This is my first Bolt Action rifle and I’ve got plenty of experiencing in amateur gun smithing with handguns and AR’s but this was a bit challenging for me and would have been impossible without the firing pin tool. Wuality machining, will be buying more upgrades from AO.
