These bolts also have a Black Nitride finish option, which improves the operational capabilities of the handle by reducing wear and corrosion.

The threads accept any of our 5/16 X 24 TPI bolt knobs, which customers can select as an add-on at the time of purchase by selecting their choice from the drop-down menu above the Add to Cart button.

This new bolt handle was honestly not the easiest thing to install, even with the tool I bought, which allegedly makes it easier. If you know how to disassemble and assemble the bolt/firing pin, you'll be fine, but it took me 2 hours to figure out how to get this thing reassembled. That said, I really like the new look! I swapped the bolt handle, added a new knob, and replaced the shroud with a metal version.

This was the best upgrade to my sons 22-250. Fit and install was very easy and looks great! Add the long dragon
knob.I definitely recommend the firing pin tool that is offered when you do the install . Makes life a lot easier.

I got the stainless steel RH for my new RPR. Looks great on the rifle, but the threading was, from what I can tell, just slightly oversized in dimension. The new titanium big bertha knob I bought for it would not screw onto the handle. I broke out my 5/16 x 24 machinist threading tool and with small effort cleaned up the threading on the handle and the knob screwed right on as if they were meant to be together..
