This is a very nice upgrade to my Ruger American rifle. I also bought a dragon scale bolt knob to go with it. Function is great for reason others have already notes and it looks good, though that's not a concern for me. I needed it to work well and improve the way the bolt cycles and it accomplishes that.

Bought a Ruger American Ranch and decided the bolt throw was just too small and disappointing. After two field experiences I went to the AO website and placed the order based on a friends recommendation. Best upgrade I could make. Make sure to get the tool as it makes this process super simple and without you are compressing a spring with your third arm… enjoy it will get several more in the coming months.

Absolute worthy upgrade! Significantly increased the distance between to the bolt handle and optic; contributing to ease of use during the operation cycle. Additionally, the cycle of the action significantly decreased the impacts to the sight picture when employing from a bench rest or prone position.
