The design of our Ruger Bolt Handles is the product of a vision of strength and durability. Our machined 416 Stainless Steel bolt handles offer optimal strength and utility. These bolts also have a Black Nitride finish option, which improves the operational capabilities of the handle by reducing wear and corrosion.

The threads accept any of our 5/16 X 24 TPI bolt knobs, which customers can select as an add-on at the time of purchase by selecting their choice from the drop-down menu above the Add to Cart button.

We recommend the curved version of the Ruger Precision and Ruger American Bolt Handle Upgrade brings the handle down and has a 20-degree angle, closer to the trigger. This improves bolt manipulation and keeps it close to the rifle to avoid snags.

If your looking for a more traditional feel to your Ruger rifle, the ambidextrous straight version may fit you better.

This is an easy, inexpensive, excellent, and much-needed upgrade for the Ruger American series. I have a Ranch in .300 BLK and when paired with the Anarchy oversize bolt knob, it made cycling much easier, and required a lot less effort. 10/10 will definitely buy again in the future, when I buy more Ruger American Ranch rifles (6.5 Grendel and .350 Legend).

I added the bolt upgrade to my Ruger American 6.5 creedmore along with knob and shroud. Easy to replace stock items. All worked great.

Love how easy it is to but a better looking bolt knob on the Ruger American rifle. I like an oversized knob to make bolt easier to manipulate and this is a really easy and good looking fix for the factory knob. Jury is still out on the little bolt removal device. Mine does not lock in place like the video shows. I had to sort of keep it in one hand while replacing the bolt and then get it reinstalled before I lost control of it and had to reset the spring the hard way….
