SP SAFETY SELECTOR KIT

The Seekins Precision Ambidextrous safety selector allows the shooter to easily switch from a standard 90 degree throw to a 60 degree short throw. The SP selector also features a screw design for solid lock-up so you don't have to worry about levers falling off. Made from rugged aluminum and hard coat anodized, the SP safety selector is the perfect upgrade for your AR-15.

Compatible with the Ruger Precision Rimfire

It is clear as mud when you research online, and ambiguous in the answers here on whether this will work on the Ruger Precision Rimfire. I took the chance and will confirm that this does fit the Ruger Precision Rimfire and functions very well. You have to reconfigure it from the way it comes so that the shaft is rotated 180 degrees, with the 90 degree throw section to the right. This allows it to catch right inside the safety notch in the action. It will still have a 60 degree throw; the Ruger Precision Rimfire has the throw built in and doesn't use a spring detent like the AR-15 does. This is probably the one to get for this purpose as I tried a Magpul ambi safety and it doesn't work at all. Get the Seekins.

Bought it for a Ruger Precision Rimfire Rifle & it had to much side play for me to be comfortable with it. Could be the Rifle dimensions. Put it on a Fulton Armory AR lower, fits & works fine. It’s well made it just didn’t work for my intended purpose.

Purchased for my Ruger Precision Rifle 300PRC. Bought red, just for looks. I gave it four stars instead of five because there’s a bit of play, compared to the stock switch, that I don’t care for.
