Titanium AR-15 enhanced firing pin.
Upgraded standard firing pin to this for two of my 6ARC builds using CMC enhanced (3 gas holes) BCG.
What an absolute difference this makes..
Winchester number 41 primer that comes in most factory ammunition is a little harder (also comparable to a small rifle magnum primer) which have thicker cup. I had concerns about primer penetration, but what I got was picture perfect primer strikes every time.
It also figured out the problem with short striking in >32 cold weather during thermal coyote season up north.
I have never ran these in a 223/5.56 so I have zero review on that but for larger cartridges in a smaller platform (ARC everything) I am sold and will probably get a couple extra for just having around for other things.. -
Enhanced firing pin
Works very very well with my Super Safety, have not had a light primer strike since I have installed this pin.
