**Ruger has recently updated their design for short action Ruger Precision Rifles. We are currently working on updated parts to accommodate their new firing pin design. Below is a picture of the new design (left) and the older (right) . If your short action RPR firing pin has the newer design (left), our aftermarket firing pins, and cocking pieces are not yet compatible. Please check back in a few weeks for compatible parts for the new design. (All Magnum aftermarket parts are still compatible with the Magnum RPR)** moved

I installed this to help with miss fires, it is very well made good finish, as opposed to original firing pin that is a pitiful soft poorly finished junk that should have never been installed by Ruger in the first place. Anyway it seems to help with miss fires.

Installed this with the help of you tube videos like the rest of the reviews it seems to be made better but have only put six rounds so far
