American Rifle Company XYLO Chassis
The XYLO Chassis is machined from a single pice of 7075 aluminum for exceptional strength and durability. The short action chassis weighs 4.6 pounds and the long action chassis weighs 4.7 pounds. Maximum weight is about 10.4 pounds with a full weight kit. Chassis includes four hardened stainless steel sling swivel cup inserts with additional sling swivel cups in the included aluminum bag rider. The butt plate can also be adjusted for vertical position and rifle cant.
The Xylo chassis comes standard with a lug clamp for 0.185" thick recoil lugs (fits all ARC actions). Clamps for 0.250" and 0.313" lugs are available for swap on request or can be purchased separately. The Xylo can also be used without the clamp.
Forend of the long action chassis will fit two sets of internal weights and two sets of external weights. The forend of short action chassis will fit three sets of internal weights and three sets of external weights.
FEATURES
- Integrated Level that can deploy right or left. Designed to be further from your eyes to ease eye strain when focusing on the level and stows in center position.
- Cheek Piece Elevator and Adjustment that can adjust fore/aft, left/right, and yaw adjustment. Rack and pinion adjustment with lock nut to eliminate all play when tightened.
- LOP Adjustment has a range of 325 - 400mm (12.75 - 15.75 in). 2" of quick adjust plus 1" of adjustment with T25 wrench. Designed with slide rods that are 3/8" diameter titanium.
- Grip is made from Walnut that fits well in the hand for a steady hold. The grip is also dipped in mineral oil for a natural wood finish that is water resistant.
- Fore-End is integrally machined Anschutz rail and Arca-Swiss with Area 419 ArcaLock with M-LOK slots along both sides. Countersunk holes and serrations for robust and repeatable optical mounting hardware and accessory holes drilled within the rail for your customization.
- Magazine Well with a low profile fore end makes mag changes easy when close to the ground. It also has flared magazine well for easy reloading with a mag latch bump supports rear magazine to prevent magazine from rotating up towards the bolt.
