AD Arms Billet Ruger Precision/American Rifle Cocking Piece
***This Pin Back is compatible with new Gen 2 American rifles***
*NOTE* This firing pin back is not compatible with RPR/American rimfire rifles.
This product is a billet RPR/American Firing Pin Back or cocking piece developed by AD Arms in response to the breakages many have experienced with the factory metal injection molded part. The design allows it to replace the factory part with ease.
This cocking piece is machined from a pre-hardened 4140 alloy billet. It is then nitrided for increased hardness, wear-resistance and corrosion protection. This fully-machined part will get the job done without risk of failure.
Furthermore, this firing pin back is lighter than the stock part. Because it is lighter, it increases lock-time performance while the hardness of the material decreases cocking effort.

Ruger American RIfle Cocking Piece
This seems to be better made that the factory part. Ill probably never have to give this part a thought again. My only complaint, is that there is not a great video showing how to remove the firing pin assembly from the bolt body. I struggles with this for days. I think it would be best for Anarchy Outdoors to produce a start to finish video on how to do this, rather than deferring to other videos that could be found online.

Well worth the price
Installed on Ruger American 6mm CM action with Timney trigger in an MDT chassis, just because I could. Worth every penny. Coyotes beware.

Awesome build quality. This is the part the rifle should have came with. Buy it, you won't regret it.

Big Improvement
A great replacement for the OEM part. The movement of the bolt was much smoother through out the whole bolt throw.
