AD Arms Billet Ruger Precision/American Rifle Cocking Piece

*NOTE* This firing pin back is not compatible with RPR/American rimfire rifles.

This product is a billet RPR/American Firing Pin Back or cocking piece developed by AD Arms in response to the breakages many have experienced with the factory metal injection molded part. The design allows it to replace the factory part with ease.

This cocking piece is machined from a pre-hardened 4140 alloy billet. It is then nitrided for increased hardness, wear-resistance and corrosion protection. This fully-machined part will get the job done without risk of failure.

Furthermore, this firing pin back is lighter than the stock part. Because it is lighter, it increases lock-time performance while the hardness of the material decreases cocking effort.

Amazing!, my original part broke after 300 rounds. Changed to this one, bolt throw is light, super smooth, definitely a huge upgrade!!!!

My OEM MIM cocking piece broke within 50 rounds. This billet piece is high quality and restored my confidence in my RPR. A must buy for anyone wanting to upgrade reliability.

It smoothed cocking the bolt and shaved .4 oz off the trigger pull.

The part does function but I measure the bolt lift and found it made mine much heavier to lift. I was disappointed. I plan on keeping it as a back-up.
