The QRBP VariFlame Conversion Kit by CVA
The QRBP Variflame Conversion Kit makes it possible for certain muzzleloader ignitions to use larger rifle primers. Larger primers create a hotter and more consistent ignition, which improves accuracy and long-range performance.
CVA recommends The QRBP VariFlame Conversion Kit for certain CVA Muzzleloaders made in or after 2010.

Good product and better costumer Service
I order the conversion kit to remedy my blow back problem with the 209 breech plug. It fixed the problem but the plug created another issue. The issue that it caused was I couldn’t get the plug tight enough to disengage the safety mechanism so the hammer and the trigger pull was smooth and light. I contracted CVA, sent them a few pictures, they sent me a new plug and it fixed the issue. Switching to the large rifle primers has made my FPS more consistent. I still recommend this product

Resolved blowback and improved accuracy
I was struggling with my Accura MRX, tried 3 209 different primers, all with horrible blowback. Tried a rubber washer, but it would only last a shot. Bought this kit and used Remington large rifle primers. Worked perfectly with zero blowback. Also, croups improved immediately from 2.5- 3.5” to now shooting 1”-1.5” consistently using Blackhorn
