If there is anything that needs to be replaced would be the shroud. Considering the one that comes on the rifle is plastic.

I add this to go with the red theme I had coming on. I fit with no issues. I love the look.

I will say, there is a small chip in the paint on the bottom (when I got it), I am hoping that wont contrune to chip. But other than that small chip on the bottom, I am loving this shroud.

I put the black anodized aluminum one on an American Ranch rifle. Went right on with no problems, looks great. Customer service was outstanding.

Great fitting unit. Perfect replacement. Fast shipping. Increases cosmetics of the bolt and removes the cheap plastic unit provided by Ruger as original equipment. Price is somewhat limiting and hard to justify on a firearm that was sub $500.00 to purchase ,(almost 20 percent of purchase price when shipping and taxes are considered)
