The Fluted Ruger Precision Rifle Bolt Shroud replacement is hands down the best RPR bolt shroud on the market. Made in house on a 5-axis Swiss lathe to exacting tolerances out of grade 5 (6al4v) titanium or Black Anodized Type 2 Class 3 Aluminum, it is the strongest shroud on the market. A bolt shroud made of titanium balances out the bolt weight and enhances the throw during bolt manipulation. The balanced weight increases the throw and speed of cycling the shell and reduces the possibility of binding.

A Type 2 Class 3 Anodization finish provides added style and durability.

NOTE: Magnum shrouds fit the following RPR calibers: .338 Lapua, .300 WM, and 300 PRC. Short action shrouds work with the following RPR calibers: .223, .308, 6.5 Creedmoor, 6.5 PRC, 6mm, etc.
**In April 2021, Ruger updated its short action Ruger Precision Rifle design. If your short-action RPR firing pin has the newer design (left), you will need the NEW design in the Caliber drop-down. Compatible parts for the new design for the firing pin and cocking piece will come soon. (All Magnum aftermarket parts are still compatible with the Magnum RPR)**

Titanium Fluted Bolt Shroud w/Tool
Both the shroud and the tool/cap were precision machined and the fitment was perfect in all regards. Even more important was how the "bolt throw" felt when performing the first set of function tests.
The difference was noticeable (to me) on the very first throw !
The shroud and cap/tool does add some weight, which was part of the objective, but with titanium, it's just enough to make the bolt throw feel properly balanced. Before the upgrade, the bolt felt front heavy and/or too light on the ejection cycle.
The latest generation of RPR is basically fine out of the box, but the bolt parts are potentially the weak link in the chain. Upgrading with better parts for the bolt is my personal goal and Anarchy Outdoors is a solid source to meet that goal. -
Black Aluminum RPR Magnum Bolt Shroud
Nicely machined and finished, and definitely nicer than the stock plastic shroud, but I'm disappointed that the endcap doesn't have a matching finish and that there is no space for the trigger adjustment wrench in the bolt shroud.

Beautiful addition and the bolt slides easier. I recommend getting firing pin tool, I broke the plastic one that came with the rifle.

Fluted Shroud for 6.5 Creedmoor
Bought this without the take down tool. I like to keep things simple. Went on like a glove. Action cycles smooth, no issues. Heading to the range later today to check the function under fire.
