Ruger Precision Rifle Bolt Shroud Replacement
Replace your factory Ruger Precision bolt shroud with the Anarchy Outdoors' Ruger Precision Rifle Bolt Shroud Replacement. This shroud is made in-house on a five-axis Swiss lathe to exacting tolerances out of grade 5 (6al4v) titanium, meaning it will never tarnish, discolor, and is corrosion-proof.

NOTE: Magnum shrouds work with the following RPR calibers: .338 Lapua, .300 WM, and 300 PRC. Short action shrouds fit the following RPR calibers: .223, .308, 6.5 Creedmoor, 6.5 PRC, 6mm, etc.
**In April 2021, Ruger updated its short action Ruger Precision Rifle design. If your short-action RPR firing pin has the newer design (left), you will need the NEW design in the Caliber drop-down. Check back in a few weeks for compatible parts for the new design for the firing pin and cocking piece. (All Magnum aftermarket parts are still compatible with the Magnum RPR)**

RPR Shroud

Worth It
I was a little skeptical that this shroud would smooth out the action compared to the billet aluminum shroud included with the Gen2 RPR. I'm happy to report that it does. Don't expect the bolt to feel like it's riding on rails, but it is smoother than what you get from the factory. I didn't measure, but it seems like the side clearance is reduced. Maybe the best part of this upgrade is the metal firing pin tool. Yes, there's no placee for the trigger adjustment wrench, but I don't considered that a big deal once the trigger is adjusted. Keep the wrench in your range bag. Overall this is a very nice upgrade. I paired it with the Anarchy bolt handle and large dragon scale bolt knob. They work excellent together and look great!

Well crafted hardware. The shroud fit perfectly and the tool looks and functions as it intended. The bolt looks like one solid piece now. I would recommend these parts without hesitation

Ruger Precision Rifle Titanium Bolt Shroud HD w/ Tool
Why a replacement bolt shroud? Answer: the plastic factory shroud is flimsy and does not inspire confidence that it will survive the twisting required to removed shroud from bolt. The titanium shroud is well made, strong and installs/de-installs easily once you understand Ruger's design. I like the o-ring seal used in the firing pin removal tool. Although there seems to be additional storage in the shroud the Ruger provided allen wrench, used to adjust the trigger, will not fit in the shroud. This is the only complaint I have with the product. Otherwise, it does the job quite well.
