Outstanding fit and finish for the price. The bolt feels much smoother now that the cheap plastic shroud is gone- definitely worth the upgrade, this is a piece I'm confident will last for years.

Not sure why Ruger made this part plastic, I'm sure it was to save cost and maybe weight?
This shroud replacement may not be truly needed but I would rather have some more durable than a plastic piece.
Nicely made, still lightweight, but more durable than the plastic OEM.

I ordered the shroud from glade armory first, their shroud had too much play. It rattled and made the bolt loud when cycling it. I ordered the anarchy shroud and it fit quite a bit better on my rifle. A lot less play and fit better. I should have gone with the anarchy shroud from the beginning. Could have been my particular rifle too.

It is a cosmetic upgrade but Titanium bold shroud perfectly matches with the stainless bolt of my Ruger American Go Wild Camo. My barrel cerakoted in bronze was nice and bolt handle was OK but the bronze cerakoted bolt handle did not contour with the stainless bolt...now it looks great with this new shroud and separately purchased stainless handle/fluted knob. It IS much better than the plastic made shroud came with the rifle for sure. Also, if you do not have one, make sure to purchase the tool to extract firing pin IF you are planning to swap out the bolt handle. Don’t need one if you are just changing out this shroud though. Again, it fits perfect and looks great!
